Yes, Social Media dangerous to kids, but…

I applaud the efforts of some to sue social media companies for addicting children to their content. However, there is something else to be considered. Let’s start with a question: how many children buy their own smartphones, using what they’ve earned or from their allowances? I doubt it has been very many. So, where do they get these devices? I guess it’s from the same parents who lament the way kids get addicted. Are these parents also providing meth to their kids? Probably not, but I don’t see a qualitative difference. Can a child access social media without a device? Think about this before you buy your child an addictive tool.
